UNICAT Station 34 ID-C

The insertion device (ID) C station in sector 34 is dedicated for coherent diffraction, small-angle scattering and high-resolution imaging and tomography.

Scientific applications cover different fields such as materials sciences, biomedical applications, biology and even astrophysics.

The development of the Coherent X-ray Diffraction Instrument, which represents half of the scientific scope of Sector 34, has been funded by the Major Research Instrumentation program of the US National Science Foundation under grant DMR-9724294.
